Kayrak Systems
How do you take 360-degree panoramic photographs from a wobbly Kayak? Using an innovative outrigger and platform system from Kayrak Systems, we are able to take to the water with the stability we need to take great photographs. The flexible platform behind the main cockpit provides us with the perfect platform for mounting our tripod and camera equipment.
Trails BC
We have been working closely with Trails BC to create an Interactive map for the Trans Canada Trail Challenge 2008: Myra Station to Penticton. Participants in this event were able to use the map to acquaint themselves with the route beforehand and will be able to print out the sections they need. This event coincided with the reopening of the famous Myra Canyon Trestles which were devastated in the 2003 Okanagan Mountain Park Fire.
Chute Lake Resort
Gary and Doreen Reed’s charming resort lies on the Shore of Chute Lake, south of Kelowna. They offer camping and cabin lodging and are well positioned for cyclists wanting to break up their journey from Myra Canyon to Penticton. Doreen’s rhubarb crumble is to die for! This plush Visitor Center in Penticton is definitely worth a visit. In addition to the wealth of visitor information, there is also an adjoining retail outlet for locally produced wines. The Visitor Center has a live demonstration of our “Trans-Canada Trail explorer: Myra Station to Penticton” DVD-ROM. They can also be purchased there.
